First-launch checklist
macOS: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, or xattr -cr "/Applications/Milo.app". Windows: SmartScreen → More info → Run anyway. Linux AppImage: chmod +x Milo_*.AppImage then run. Keep any Discord desktop client open and hit Connect.
How do I verify a download?
Compare the SHA-256 checksum on the release page with shasum -a 256 Milo_* (macOS/Linux) or Get-FileHash Milo_* (PowerShell). The Tauri updater additionally verifies .sig signatures before installing.
Which Discord clients work?
Official Discord, Vencord, BetterDiscord, Vesktop, and arRPC. Browser Discord can't receive local Rich Presence — use the desktop app.
